Foam Lake Campground

The sites are large and all have lovely poplar trees. The campground is surrounded by wheat fields. I was there in September and it was super quiet and cheap rates for tents.

This location is always our stop over to use their facilities. Been doing this over 10yrs and the staff there are always great. Always with great smile and know about alot about Foam Lake. Thank you for your wonderful services.

Great little campground that made me feel welcome in my old home town. Neat and well-maintained, free firewood, good washrooms and shower facilities. Lots of space between sites, with nice views across the fields at the back of the campground. Just a hop skip and jump across the Yellowhead to get into town for some yummy baked goods at the bakery. Highly recommended for those exploring this gem of a prairie town, or for those just passing through...

Nice little campground, really good rates, very quiet and well taken care! Lots of neat little things to do in the area, only thing keeping from 5 star would be better showers :) Definitely would come back again if in the area!

A very nice campground with some appealing features. Though the office is up near the road, the campground is well back in a quiet setting. The non-linear campground layout is aesthetically and otherwise inspiring, in contrast to some that are laid out in a “suburban-style” grid. Some of the tent sites are a bit small / could use some TLC, but we found one that worked for us. A fair number of large trees provide shade. Protocol-wise, up at the office the Canadian and American flags should be the same size and should be flown at the same height, neither of which is currently the case. Perhaps the town could address this. Not far from a five-star rating.

Well taken care of and roomy sites with pretty good privacy. Washroom outdated but clean, Showers are old and slightly small but it does the job and gets you clean! Was very happy with our stay. Love how much grass there is! Tons of room in different areas for kids to run and play.

We stayed here for one night on our way across Western Canada. The campground is very well maintained and set back from the highway. The washrooms and showers were clean and well maintained.

Very clean although outdated bathrooms /showers. Free firewood if you want. Nicely mowed campground and quiet.large spaces.we have a 39 foot RV. 50 amp service. There is an old house to tour with host filled with wonderful donated pieces from the community of Foam Lake

Only rated 3 stars because I thinkThey could do a much better job of keeping the grounds up. This place has a lot of potential, just needs some elbow grease. There are a couple level spaces, but most could use some work. The grass is also unkept. I did not stay here, only stopped for a short period to rest my eyes while on a trip on the Trans canada hwy. They have good facilities, and as I mentioned, a lot of potential.

Great little overnight stop and camp. Staff were very warm and friendly, informative and helpful. Power only, potable water on site and a dump station. Free firewood, clean washrooms and free showers. Large private sites. A community it run campground with a communal fire pit and picnic shelter. If I lived here, I'd use this place for weekenders and group camping. Can't beat $25/ night.
